George Collection - FAQ
1. How many systems are in the collection?
There are 4 systems in this collection: George I, George II, George III, and George IV. All designed as fully mechanical e-mini futures day trading systems. Also, a highly priced trading strategy is included in it (inside the George IV package).
2. What e-mini futures markets were these systems designed to work in?
George I was designed for ES, the S&P 500 e-mini futures contract, and so was originally George II, but it proved to work well for TF (the Russell 2000 e-mini futures contract) too at the time when volatility in ES was rather low. George III was designed for the same market as the other two, and so was George IV, but it proved to work well for YM (the Dow Jones e-mini futures contract) as well.
3. What do I need to use these systems?
A charting software with a data feed is all you need. I don't recommend these systems for mechanical trading at this point, though they can be used as discretionary trading ideas just fine.
4. What charting packages can these systems work with?
Any charting software that has basic indicators is enough. I designed these systems using Sierra Chart, but they can work with NinjaTrader 7 well too and with many other charting packages that have standard indicators. Where necessary, trading templates for NinjaTrader 7 and Sierra Chart are included. That is the case for George I and George IV.
5. Are these systems suitable for beginners?
Yes. Some of them are very simple. George II is probably the simplest system you will ever buy, others are more complex but based on relatively simple ideas.
6. Can these systems be used for mechanical trading?
In principle yes, but before you decide to do so, please do back test them over the period of at least 6-12 last months to see if they have any edge. Some of them come with about 2 years of back results, one (George III) with only about one year, but new testing employing more recent data is required before you ever decide to trade them mechanically. However, you may also choose to use them for discretionary trading and they are offered primarily for this purpose. Or, as an inspiration for new trading ideas.
7. Can I ask questions about them if I have any?
Yes. I will be happy to answer them via e-mail before and after your purchase. But please do me a favor and read the information about the systems available on this site and then after ordering them. If you still have questions, feel free to ask.
8. Do you offer a refund?
No. Your purchase is not refundable. The price of the collection is quite low and purchasing it also gives you full rights to the e-mini futures forum membership. However, if you cannot afford it, please don't buy it.
