KING - Recession ... What recession?
I lost my last job in the last month of 2001. I was told this sad news shortly before Christmas, so that was not the best Christmas in my life, as you can probably imagine. But that does not mean that I am writing it from a homeless shelter having been a hobo for the past 7 years or so. Not at all.
It was a good job. At first in Beverly Hills, the last six months of it in a neighboring town of Culver City. I enjoyed it, but as it turned out soon after laying me off, the company I had worked for went out of business too. Times were tough, it was during a recession, however mild it might have been.
But it was also a blessing in disguise. I decided not too look for another job, but to train myself to become a day trader. I had been interested in trading futures for many years by then, but had never traded anything besides mutual funds, stocks and options. Futures would be a new game for me. I started with emini futures most popular market and the only liquid enough at the time, ES.
I did not become a success overnight, unless we define "overnight" as 6 to 12 months. And I spent close to $5000 on this business, mostly educational materials, most of which turned out to be of little value or certainly not worth as much as a grand or two that I paid for them.
But I succeeded. And now with another, probably much more severe, recession on the horizon, I am safe. I don't care about recessions anymore. My main business activity, day trading eminis, is as recession proof as you can possibly imagine.
I know that some people already are or soon will be in the same situation I was 7 years ago. Well, I know how it feels, but I also know what I would do if I were in this situation again. Exactly what I did before.
The good news is, though, that those who just lost or will soon lose their jobs, could now succeed much faster than I did. Yes, with KING this is definitely possible as you can see from this section or the one with very complete results of my first KING trainee, Katherine. It's possible to do it within a month or two. My best recent student, PP, started trading live (and very successfully too) in his second week with KING, but most people will take longer than that.
And once you have succeeded like Katherine or PP, your reaction to this or another recession will most likely be like mine is these days: "recession... what recession?"
